ColorViz is an application that helps colorblind people discern colors by applying algorithms I have developed to live video.
It was initially implemented in C# for the Windows Phone 7 environment and I later ported it to Silverlight. It later ended up as a winner for Microsoft’s #WPAppItUp competition.
I later rewrote most of the functionality in Objective C and inline ARM NEON for Apple’s iOS platform. I’ve never really enjoyed developing on Apple platforms so I slacked off and never published it to the App Store. Now that the Swift language is out, I keep getting the itch to revisit it.
